Potsdam-based Construction Tech Startup Koppla Raises €6M Seed Round to Accelerate Scheduling Platform Growth

Potsdam, Germany –
Koppla, a construction technology startup, has raised €6 million in a Seed round to further develop and expand its collaborative scheduling platform for construction sites. The round, announced on May 19, 2025, saw participation from leading institutional investors including Newion, Brandenburg Kapital, coparion, Earlybird Venture Capital, and HPI Ventures, along with angel investors Andreas Beckmann, Ingo Holz, Martin Rodeck, and Thorsten Krauß. Founded in 2020, Koppla is aiming to scale its operations and solidify its position as a key enabler of digital transformation in the construction industry.

About Koppla

Founded to modernise the construction industry’s fragmented workflows, Koppla develops an all-in-one construction management platform designed to streamline construction processes by combining project scheduling, project management, and service management into a single interface. The platform offers real-time scheduling visibility, enabling on-site teams and office-based staff to stay aligned throughout the entire construction process. koppla’s software has already been adopted by over 100 customers across 600 active projects, helping companies avoid costly delays and inefficiencies in an industry traditionally underserved by modern software solutions.
Founded by Jerome, Marco Trippler, and Lasse Steffen, Koppla is emerging as a leading force in modernizing how construction sites are managed in the DACH region. Its proprietary M3 system updates project schedules dynamically based on real-world inputs, helping crews avoid idle time and missed deadlines. To date, Koppla’s platform has helped manage over €3 billion in construction volume.

Purpose of financing

With the new capital, Koppla plans to expand its feature set and scale its workforce, particularly in the sales, customer success, product, and technology departments. The startup’s goal is to build a simple yet comprehensive scheduling tool tailored specifically for the dynamic and often unpredictable nature of construction projects. This includes enhancing the system’s adaptability to shifting site conditions to maintain optimal workflow and coordination.

Founder’s Insight

Marco Trippler, co-founder and managing director at Koppla, said:
“In construction, time is money — and delays are the norm”. “Our mission is to change that with an intuitive, real-time scheduling system that helps everyone on the site work together more efficiently.” Co-founder Lasse Steffen added, “Legacy solutions just don’t cut it anymore. Koppla offers a fresh approach that’s built with the construction industry’s needs in mind.”

Investor’s Perspective

Investor Leopold Lindner from Newion, stated:
“We see immense potential in koppla’s platform and its unique approach to digitizing construction. The team understands the real pain points of the industry and is solving them in a practical and scalable way.”

Conclusion

With this latest funding, Koppla is set to build on its strong foundation and accelerate its mission of transforming construction project management across Europe.
